Building the world’s best Nutritional plant required the world’s best bird proofing option for our onsite Warehouse. We enlisted StopBirds where Dennis and his team installed bird netting to worlds class standard.

The work was completed during normal business hours and Stopbirds worked with us to minimise any delays to our own operation.. Health and Safety was paramount and Dennis’s team worked under our site permit system to the letter.

As a project, three separate quotes were required in which StopBirds came in at the lowest costs and the need to travel to the bottom of the South for this job did not matter to Dennis, he arranged everything that was required.

We certainly recommend Stopbirds bird protection to any facility.

"We had a major problem with pigeons and birds nesting under the canopy entrance to our warehouse. Due to our RMP we needed a solution to eliminate any possibility of bird contaminants entering through our warehouse. We also could not use this space for any general storage or staging loads either as the potential for contamination was too great

Stopbirds were the first contactors working onsite since the legislation changes to the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015. We required a full contractor management plan and were supplied all the required details in a very timely manner. The work was completed during normal business hours and Stopbirds worked with us to minimise any delays and were very co-operative to our business needs.

Since the completion of the work we are completely bird free and the team have commended Stopbirds on their great result.

We received quotes from two companies to undertake this work. Stopbirds were by far the best option. After completing the work and seeing the quality and effectiveness we are very happy with the results.

I highly recommend Stopbirds for their professionalism, cost effectiveness and most importantly their attitude towards Health & safety."

Broomhall Building

In 2005 Broomhall Building installed a comprehensive Bird-netting system to a newly constructed Dairy Company Load-out Canopy for Apollo Project.

The system included “zippers” for access to service points such as lighting and fire sprinklers. We found Broomhall Building to be highly qualified for the installation in both terms of training and expertise.

We can recommend Dennis Broomhall as installers and maintenance service providers for Bird Proofing. Their previous experience in installation of these systems is invaluable and inspires confidence in their products.

"Just a quick note to say thanks for the great result you and your team have produced with the bird-proofing of our building and ELA at our Temuka site.
We had a real problem with sparros, starlings and pigeions which now thanks to your comprehensive solution, the problem has disappeared.
It was great that you could complete the job on time, within budget and with minimal interruption to our daily operations.
Once again, thanks for a job well done."

This business had trouble with swallows, pigeons and starlings, nesting among the metal purlins. We were asked if we could bird proof this canopy as the damage to pallets from bird droppings was a problem. We said yes and all done on budget, saving them a lot of money from weekly cleaning services. No more birds! Happy customer!

This canopy is 108 meters long and 18 meters wide. The nets, 20 meters wide with 20x20mm squares, exclude all birds and are very hard to see from the ground.
